Informatica ETL Developer

Key Requirements:

• Infrastructure Setup: Lead and contribute to the implementation and configuration of the infrastructure for the Data Integration Hub.

• Agile Development: Perform Design, Development, and Implementation (DD&I) tasks using Agile methodology across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• ETL Development: Develop ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS for automating data acquisition and transformation processes.

• Data Integration: Acquire and integrate data from various sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and PDFs for analytics and visualization use cases.

• SQL Scripting: Write and optimize complex SQL scripts in Oracle and/or Snowflake.

• Testing & Deployment: Conduct integration, load, and stress testing; deploy robust data solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Support & Enhancement: Provide ongoing support and continuous enhancements to the Data Integration Hub.

• Agile Participation: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and data models using tools like Visio, Erwin, etc.

• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, analysts, and data engineers to design implementations and define data acquisition strategies.

• Automation Support: Assist in automating the verification and validation processes for data pipelines and transformations.

• Tool Configuration: Support the setup and configuration of development tools and environments.

• Requirements Analysis: Interpret evolving business requirements and recommend scalable and efficient technical solutions.

• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and implement enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ETL Development: 8+ years of experience developing ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.

• Data Integration: 8+ years acquiring and integrating data from multiple sources for reporting or BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).

• SQL Expertise: 8+ years developing complex SQL scripts in Oracle and/or Snowflake.

• Systems Analysis: 8+ years as a System Analyst on data analytics, performance management, or data warehousing projects.

• Documentation & Modeling: Strong skills in technical writing, data modeling, and diagramming using tools like Visio, Erwin, MS Office, and MS Project.

• Enterprise Delivery: Proven experience delivering enterprise software solutions across multiple organizational units.

• Clean Code Practices: Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable, and efficient code using modern development standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Agile Experience: Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Data Security Awareness: Understanding of data security principles, especially in the context of healthcare, PII, or PHI data.

• Industry Background: Experience in the healthcare industry or public sector is highly desirable.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Python scripting, JIRA, and data visualization tools.

• Software & DevOps: Familiarity with Web Services (REST/SOAP), Java, JavaScript, C#, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions.

• Integration & BI Tools: Experience with Mulesoft and working in performance metrics or BI dashboard environments.
