There are two types of CMS

• Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
• Web Content Management (WCM)

ECM typically supports multiple users in a collaborative environment by integrating document management, digital asset management, and record retention.

ECM environment support storing and managing the document, digital asset, record and reduce dependence on paper and streamline business processes, drive better customer service and increase productivity, and reduce organizational risk.

WCM is an environment for websites and may include text and embed graphics, photos, video, audio, maps, and program code that display content and interact with the user. ECM typically includes a WCM function.

According to the recent survey of Builtwith WordPress is dominating every other CMS out there on the internet. Besides WordPress, Shopify is growing exponentially from 2015 in the E-commerce sector.  The Point of sales concept of Shopify has helped lots of online stores to increase their online brand awareness with help of their inbuilt website analytics tool.
